The hotel was a 6 min walk away from subway station - Sant Pau-Dos de Maig station (Exit Calle Cartagena) which was great, because from that station, you can connect to all of the other stations and tourist spots. The staff were extremely helpful in showing us which subways to take and how to get to the tourist destinations. There were many food spots (cafes, restaurants) nearby within 10 mins walk, but a lot seemed closed or only open during certain hours which could be a Spain thing. The area itself wasn’t a lively bustling area, but it was a quiet, nice and safe area. Make sure to get a Barcelona metro pass (24/48/72 hours) which is worth it if you choose to take the subway/other trains.

We were welcomed warmly by the staff and always felt taken care of by how accomodating they were with smiles and greetings every time we see them. The room is bigger than what we had imagined based on the pictures. The sofa bed was very spacious that can accomodate two people and was set up like a bed itself (in addition to the actual bed already in the room). The room was clean every time we go back after a full day outside roaming the city and we always have new set of still water and clean towels. Location is very good - near to metro and bus stations, you can even see the Sagrada Familia by just a couple of steps from the hotel.

I don't undestand how this hotel is not a 4 star hotel. Beds were great, perfectly clean, staff more than happy to help, great price (cheapest hotel available at the time) it was a great find, definitely better than any Ibis or similar. Located close to 2 metro lines, a great Mercadona and right in front of a bus station you can be anywhere within 10-15min by public transport. Just a few blocks from Sagrada Familia if you want to see it everyday on the way back to the hotel. Also near 2 great places for breakfast with great food for 6-8eur and natural juice pressed fresh!

The reception was 24/7 and staff were always very kind . Hotel looks good in rooms, bathroom, was pretry clean and the view from upper floors is pretty. There’s a small balcony with chairs if you want to sit. Plenty of places nearby to get breakfast or dinner, also supermarkets, near to Sagrada Familia. I think it has great poaition and connection for the city. Bathrooms and towels were clean, with shampoo, showergel and hairdryer

We were lucky to get room 602 which has a big balcony where we had breakfast and nighttime drinks from the supermarket around the corner. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Location is 10 minutes away from Sagreda de Famila and metro stop. We got the 4 day metro pass which covers all zones and it was great value. Lots of goid restaurants and cafes in the area.
